Type 2 : Steel plated drop nose pin (toggle pin) with a brass non locking latch

A spring loaded steel drop nose pin with a brass latch, sometimes referred to as a toggle pin. The latch is turned to the inline position for insertion/removal and rotated 90º to close in place. The spring on the body keeps the pin located, the latch is not locked.

Only suitable for use through solid sections, not suitable for hollow sections.

Supplied with a steel chain lanyard and fixing tab.

The spring (C) occupies a minimum of 35mm on the pin body, thus influencing the effective grip length.
