The steel versanut from looks like an elongated flat head rivet nut, and it sets like a rivet nut with spin-pull tooling, but the difference lies in the method of setting.

The versanut splits into 4 as it sets, leaving a wide clamp up tail formation and an insert thread.

Ideal for use in soft materials, composites and high density plastics, it combines a wide grip range with impressive maximum torque to bolt results. 

The VN series is offered in M4, M5, M6, and M8 and in two grip lengths. Pack sizes of 500 and 1000.
